Qrious Events

Your event, one tap away for every guest.

A pin is touched to a phone, the phone offers to open the invitation, and the wedding page opens greeting the guest, Layla Sample, by name. The couple and the guest are made up.

A page made for your event. Each guest opens it on their phone: by touching a small tag to it, by pointing the camera at a printed code, or from an invitation we email them. It greets them by name, takes their answer, and shows you who is coming. Nothing to download.

Weddings, birthdays, networking events, property launches and more. We set up every page with you.

A page for whatever you are planning.

Each kind of event has its own page: its own words, its own look, and its own way for guests to say yes.

What people ask first.

Do my guests need an app?
No. A guest touches the tag you gave them to their phone, points the camera at their code, or opens the link in their invitation, and the page opens on their phone straight away. There is nothing to download and nothing to sign in to.
What kinds of event is it for?
Weddings, engagements, birthdays, baby showers, graduations, networking events, company events and dinners, conferences, iftars and Ramadan gatherings, and property launches. Each has its own page, in a look that suits it, put together around your event: you choose what is on it and in which order, add your own parts, and decide what your guests are asked. If yours is something else, tell us about it and we will say honestly whether it fits.
What do my guests carry?
Whatever suits the event. A tag is a card, a pin, a wristband or a sticker with a tiny chip inside: touching it to a phone opens the page. A code (a QR code, the square people scan with their camera) can go on a printed invitation, be sent as a picture, or be printed for every guest on one sheet. Every guest has one page of their own, and whatever you hand them opens it: the page greets them by name, and what they answer is kept as theirs.
Can you send the invitations?
By email, yes. Each guest with an email address is sent their own link once, and reminded once if they haven't answered. The email is short and plain with one link in it, and the guest can stop them with one tap. We do not send WhatsApp or text messages: you can send a guest their link in any message yourself.
Can I ask my guests my own questions?
Yes, up to six. A meal choice, a company name, how they heard about you: you write the questions, each guest answers when they reply or sign up, and the answers are on your guest list and in the list you download.
How does check-in work on the day?
Each guest who is coming has a pass on their own page. At the door you find them by name or scan their pass with a phone, and one press checks them in. Someone who isn't on the list can be added and let in on the spot. You check people in from your own login.
Can I keep the page private?
You choose who can open it, and can change it at any time: anyone with the link, only people holding a tag, or only guests on your list. Event pages never show up in Google searches.
Can guests buy tickets or send a gift through it?
Nothing is paid through Qrious, so there are no tickets to buy. For a gift you add a link to wherever you take gifts, such as a registry, and your page sends guests there and says so.
Does someone who signs up get a confirmation email?
Not yet. They see their pass on the page the moment they sign up, and the page opens again from the same link. A confirmation email is not available yet.
Can you set it all up for us?
Yes, and that is how every event starts. Tell us about the day and we set up the page with you and deliver the tags, each already made for its guest. You get a login of your own to see your guests, their replies and who has arrived.
What does it cost?
It depends on the event: how many guests, and which tags you want made. Tell us about yours and we will give you a figure before anything is set up.

Ask us for yours.

A real person reads what you send and writes back with what it would take. Nothing is set up and nothing is charged until you say yes.

  1. Tell us about itWhat the event is, when, roughly how many guests, what you want to ask them, and what you would like them to hold.
  2. We set it up with youThe page, what is on it, and your questions. You get your own login to see your guests and change the words.
  3. Hand out the way inTags, printed codes or emailed invitations, each made for one guest. On the day, check people in from your phone.
What would you like for it? (optional, as many as you like)

A person reads it. Nothing is set up and nothing is charged.

One tap, and they are at your event.

Tell us about it. We make the page first, then the tags.
